US-based software developer Insight Software Solutions specializes on creating “award-winning products that educate, organize and automate your computer tasks.” One application Insight Software Solutions came up with is ShortKeys, an application that will save you time if you do a lot of repetitive typing. But we will not focus on ShortKeys – because we already did in this article.

Now we will focus on another Insight Software Solutions-developed application, mainly on Zip Express. The first step, should you decide to put this application though its paces, is to download it off the web. In this regard you must know that the download weighs in at some 4MB. It always nice not having to wait a long time for a download to complete. It’s just as nice when you don’t have to wait a long time for an application to install. That’s the next obvious step you must take once the Zip Express download completes. You will be glad to know that installing the application is a smooth and swift process. You will also be glad to know that Zip Express works with pretty much any version of the Microsoft-developed Windows operating system.

And so we get to the functionality this application provides. Now that the application is installed, it is time to use. But what can Zip Express do? The application’s easy to use interface allows you to look up US zip codes and their associated cities, states, counties, area codes, time zones and current time.

Zip Express features some handy hotkeys. While you are for example writing something on your text editor of choice, you can simply press a hotkey and a Zip Code entry box will show up. When you type in your zip code, the city, state and zip code are automatically typed into the text editor.

You can also use Zip Express to find out what time it is on various cities around the world. If you would like to call someone halfway around the globe, use Zip Express first to find out what time it is in that country.
